We’re an authentic, welcoming church in Buckshaw Village that is a place for anyone to ask the big questions, find belonging and explore faith at their own pace. Whether you're curious, cautious, or completely new to faith, there's space here for you.

We believe in living differently. Not for show, but because following Jesus changes the way we see the world. We want to love deeply, because people matter. And we’re learning every day what it means to walk with Jesus together.

We’re a community that’s open-handed with love, real in our faith, and expectant that God is still doing amazing things in this village.

Come and see what we are all about.

You are always welcome.

Safeguarding at BVC

The conventional district of Buckshaw Village Church is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and we have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO) James Harris who can be contacted at safeguarding@bvchurch.co.uk. For more details please see our Safeguarding page.

The Diocese of Blackburn’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contact details for the Diocesan Safeguarding Team (DST) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DST. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
